Colonel (ret.) Peter Lambrichts will discuss the April 2026 elections in Hungary, where Péter Magyar’s pro-European center-right party toppled Viktor Orban’s right-wing nationalist party after 16 years in power.

Colonel Lambrichts speaks frequently on military, historical, and political topics. A 35-year Armored Infantry officer with the Royal Netherlands Army, Lambrichts had operational assignments in Lebanon and Bosnia. He served with the Netherlands Military Intelligence and Security Service, attended the NATO Defense College, became the Netherlands Liaison Officer to the British Army General Staff and the Military Attaché at the Netherlands Embassy in London. His last assignment was as Director of The Netherlands Defense College.
